2015-2016 Graduate Certificate in Theology and Ministry Extension Program Listing (DPCL)

A Graduate Certificate in Theology and Ministry will be awarded to students who successfully complete a total of 18 credit hours of graduate study at the Institute for Ministry.  The certificate consists of 

Graduate students may elect to continue their studies at LIM beyond the 18 credits of this certificate model. Earned credit hours from the Graduate Certificate in Theology and Ministry program can be applied toward a master of Pastoral Studies (M.P.S.) or a Master of Religious Education (M.R.E.). Upon completion of the certificate, students may apply to pursue the M.P.S. or M.R.E. degree; the 18 credit hours already earned will then be applied to a candidate’s work toward the degree.
