CLHU A238 Justice In Greek Literature 3 crs.

This course introduces students to how ancient Greek culture constructed and enacted the concept of justice within its communities. Students are introduced to a variety of primary sources and secondary analyses in order to provide the background for instituting a "mock court" patterned after the dikasteria of 5th century BCE Athens.

This is a beginning Mandarin Chinese course designed for students with no previous knowledge of Chinese.  Students learn basic Chinese characters, conversational skills, and introductory Chinese grammar.  The course focuses on Chinese pinyin Romanization system, tones and pronunciation.

Education Abroad Programs

For students wanting an education abroad experience, the Center for International Education is the first stop with advising and information on both Loyola and non-Loyola programs, financial aid, and scholarships. Staff work with students to help them find the right program that will meet their academic and personal goals, financial situation, and interests.  Students must also meet with their academic adviser and the associate dean in their college prior to applying to a non-Loyola study abroad program.
